01Check identity and timing
Confirm the site, monitor, public URL and check timestamp. Compare the configuration with the current form before diagnosing a result. A screenshot from an older run may describe an earlier version of the page. Do not combine evidence from separate test references into one claimed success.
02Find the first failed stage
Read page loading, field interaction, submission and the visible confirmation in order. Then inspect the matched WordPress acknowledgement and any configured tracking evidence. If submission stopped, a later tracking step may be untested rather than broken. Describe the observed failure precisely.
03Separate setup from an outage
A missing selector or outdated expected message can mean the monitor configuration needs attention. It does not establish that customers cannot submit. Compare the actual page using one agreed test and update the configuration when the intended design changed. Retain the prior evidence for the investigation.
04Record the next action
Assign the issue to the relevant form, hosting, mail or tracking owner. After a targeted correction, repeat the same qualified path and record the new result. Report an inconclusive outcome as inconclusive; if inbox arrival was not checked, do not translate a passing form check into a delivery guarantee.
